Decide for a Wallet
There are a lot of Wallets out there, some good ones, some bad ones, I will update a list about several Options.
But I am using Coinpayments currently. It offers many different Cryptocurrencies, easy System, good Security and you can add a note to your withdrawals. So it is perfect for the beginning.
Register your Account
Now you need to signup for your Account and may setup 2-FA to secure your Account.
Find your Wallet ID
Depending which Wallet you used, your Wallet ID is in a different place.
In Coinpayments it is under: Your Wallet -> BTC Options -> Deposit/Receive
and should look similar to this:
Hardware Wallets are the most secure Wallets you can find, as the coins are stored offline, away from Hackers, that could steal your coins. Hardware Wallets are not practical for regular spends and comes with a price, so I consider these only as a safe place to store your Coins.
